hibernate/suspend works fine with intel driver (this eliminates the need
for 915resolution) in hardy kubuntu on asus A8F - it is only some
screensavers that break this, since I turned off random screensavers I
do not experience crashes any more.

So I could not reproduce the recover from hibernate problem when an usb
disk is plugged in. But it happened once without any peripherals plugged
in, so it might not be connected to usb devices after all.
The computer recovered, asked for my password, and immediately after I
saw my desktop I saw bl
Donatas, the requested logs will help with diagnosing the bluetooth USB
problem, though it would be best to open a separate bug report for that
- one bug report per issue makes it easier to track what works and what
doesn't. So please open a report and attach the requested logs.
Re the upgrade/swa
Now, with Edgy, I use power manager (the defaul program) and not
kpowersave, and I do not have that problem any more - my laptop does
hibernation and suspend quite successfully.

I have a problem of suspend/hibernate not working on asus laptop. Below
I include copies of some correspondence with powersave people.
Klaptop did work with suspend/hibernate untill I installed 915resolution
