Invalid, as the issue is affecting the p

According to the Ubuntu wiki[1], nothing weird happens to musescore (a
universe package) during the build process. My guess is that these
strings are provided by the Qt packages, which is main. Consequently,
the Qt translations are found in the language packs. Do you have the
Italian language packs

Hi Toby,
Possibly same problem was reported by Jiannis for the Debian build.
I checked with Lasconic and the tar which is available on sourceforge
contains the latest ts (translation) files. These are the same as the
ones used in the Windows & Mac build. So that should not be the problem
