At least the symptoms are the same. As soon as the KDE desktop shows up you get
a message of the kdesktop crash.
The buttun "Continue" from the installer does not respond on step 2
(time zone) and sometimes on step 1 (language). This
pascal i cant say for sure if this is the same issue for sure yet. when
i can confirm they are same issue i will mark it confirmed. I would
really like the log from the reporter.

Is this using the livecd or is kde already installed? do you have a
crash report for it in /var/crash/. Can you please provide a backtrace
if kde is installed and you just cant start it.
