Agreed, the gtkrc file linked above should do it. I don't have a
machine to test on right now. If others do, that would be appreciated.

I think it'd be enough to copy
http://librarian.launchpad.net/4564288/gtkrc in.

Is this resolved? Can we apply the changes? Chuck, if you still have
the patch handy, email me personally and we can work out the push to
bzr.
Thanks.

I tested Chuck's patch and it indeed seems to solve both the widget
problems and the inactive title-bar stripe.

If you think we should, you should probably raise the issue in a
separate bug report to keep this one from going off-topic.

If we do this, it would actually be a good accessibility tweak, it would
make the scrollbar more obvious looking (instead of blending in with the
surroundings), if we choose a nice color of course!

This port should preferably just aim to be as close to the original as
possible without going through "updates", I believe. Unless I'm mistaken
about Viper550's message.

Okay, nice port! But, I would like to see one thing though: maybe you
could utilize the Scrollbar Color option? That could add an interesting
update to the theme...

Bug #67548 is a duplicate of this one. Some additional information can
be found there as well as another screenshot
(http://gamingw.net/pubaccess/28695/layoutchanges.png) that shows visual
brokenness (is that a word?)

I created a new port from the Clearlooks engine using the original
LegacyHuman colors where possible. Below is a screenshot of the new
look and the modified gtkrc is attached. I haven't tested it thoroughly
but it seems to be working fine so far.
