No sleep / wake-up with Ubuntu 10.10

Dell Studio 1747 - same problem - sleep and hibernate not working. After
close cover, and then open it again - i've black screen - only manual
restart is posible, can't reset X by CTRL+BACKSPACE, can't change to
other console by CTRL+17. In previous version works fine.
