It's annoying in Gnome Terminal and Gnome itself. I had this few

Another problem in nautilus that seems to be similiar: when I double click a
file (the next directly under a directory in the list) nautilus doesn't open
the file, but enters the directory. That happens very often... But I am
targeting very accurate (normally) :-) The second try it works then...
or even a computer issue, not sure. the bug needs to be confirmed by
someone else having the issue, so far you seems to be the only one
having it.
