Still present in gwibber 3.2.0-0ubuntu2 in Oneiric. Besides this, just
about everything with scrolling in Gwibber seems broken to me in various
ways. I have just started using it today, and frankly I am horrified at
how buggy it is.

I think this is equally noticeable in the GTK version of gwibber
(3.1.6). It is quite hard to visually follow the stream while scrolling
with these discrete jumps. I think the human eye needs a hit as to how
far/how fast an item moved. Smooth scrolling allows to scroll much
faster, as one can follo

I've implemented smooth scrolling since I wanted this myself and is very
easy to do, works fine in Gwibber 2.32.2 and trunk, but if I understand

it looks like there's work going on to replace the HTML based views with
GTK view
