As liferea-gtkhtml engine has been deprecated (and is no longer shipped
since Feisty) I'm closing this report.

Hey, could you see the status of the sourceforge bug report? I can't
look to it, as it was marked as private. Who created it would be allowed
to see it (and to unmark it as private).
Thanks
Pochu

I confirm this after installing liferea-gtkhtml and selecting gtkhtml2 engine
in the liferea Preferences. Thanks for the tip of using gtkhtml2.
Could you report the bug upstream here:
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=87005&atid=581684. Add a link here to
the upstream bug report so we can
Ctrl-C does not work for me. Even with liferea opened.
With mozilla engine Crtl-C works fine. I'm using gtkhtml2 engine, IMHO
it's better.

I'm using Ubuntu Edgy Beta which has liferea 1.0.23.
While it is true that the context menu has no copy option, pressing Ctrl-C
allows to copy the text for me and paste it into another application.
Do you close liferea before pasting the selected text into another application?
