I think it is more to do with the fact that the preview expects the
icons to be of high qualiry and resolution, hence scaling them up so
large. The problem is, some of the applications icons are ugly. Perhaps
the maintainers need to be informed, but until all (and there will be
lots) maybe the soft
If the icon for a particular item is ugly, even if you've installed it,
please report a bug in that package.
If the icon for a particular item is ugly before you install it but okay
afterwards, please report a bug in the app-install-data-ubuntu package.
