We have version 0.1.8-1 of python-libgmail in Hardy, so it should be fixed there. Can you confirm, that it is fixed for Hardy? You can probably fix it for other Ubuntu releases by installing the most recent python-libgmail from https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/hardy/i386 /python-libgmail/0.1.8-1 **
