Since this bug is fixed in Ubuntu 10.10 I'll set the status to "Fixed
Released". However I guess this bug might be still present in Lucid
Lynx.

I can't reproduce this bug on Ubuntu 10.10 (Maverick Meerkat), since I
upgraded I've never seen the vertical green bars anymore. I guess this
bug was fixed in kernel 2.6.34 or 2.6.35.
