can only attach one file at a time... don't have a mouse right now to
plugin so idk if this will help. It did the same with my buddy joes
mouse a few months ago. I would have to log out and log back in to get
it to work. the attached is dmesg

This typically just works for me. Can you please attach your xorg.conf
and the output of "dmesg"?
