Gnome-raw-thumbnailer now works properly, so I'm marking as fix released
to clean up a bit.
If you want gnome-raw-thumbnailer to be included in default install, you
have to report this against some other package. Or perhaps bring it to
attention on nearest UDS.

Well, this bug was opened in 2005 and now is 2012! And fun fact: this
bug is still valid! Additionally there are bugs that needs to be fixed
first. Like bug #852923 - it doesn't work out of the box on Oneiric,

Just to make things clear. There is in universe gnome-raw-thumbnailer
that do the job. Having it installed by default would help. BUT there is
also a bug in the thumbnailing code in gnome that make this fail with
some files like Canon CR2. That needs to be addressed upstream.

basically moving the package mentionned above to main
but there is an issue I have to investigate where the TIFF thumbnailer
seems to take over on .cr2 files. That is a completely different problem
I need to invistigate more.
