Sorry, I didnt reply sooner, I installed suse 10.2 on that system a few
weeks back (and the bug was on a kubuntu install which continued to give
me problems with apt-get/ db lock issues thats why I switched), but the
ubuntu on my laptop is running quite well (probably better than my

Hi, Just following up on this bug. Will you be able to provide these log
files? (you will have to repeat the install attempt with the same Live
CD to get them) Without the logs we will not be able to follow up this
issue further.
