Ah, that way. Such problems are usually related to problems establishing
or maintaining with the connection to the usenet server(s).
Unfortunately, that still leaves a lot of potential causes, both within
the application and outside of it. Anyway, glad it works again for you.
Given that 0.5.3 fixe
the que and not working properly. upgrading to the ppa fixed all the
problems.

What interval have you set for checking the nzb dir? Local or remote
filesystem? Anything relevant in the program's debug log? Try to
reproduce with the most recent version 0.5.3 from my ppa
(https://launchpad.net/~jcfp/+archive/ppa) too.
