Hi, the openjdk version is updated. I tested the extension but
openoffice crashed yet.
I am using the openoffice of Ubuntu and the installation with the deb
(download from the openoffice page) but in both cases it crashed.

two suggestions:
please could you recheck with the openjdk-6 packages in
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/openjdk/ppa/ubuntu lucid main
do you see the crash too, if you use the OpenOffice.org build as
distributed by Ubuntu?

Hi, thanks. This is the error log, the problem occurs when the user uses the
openoffice extension, he can install the extension without problems (it is a
new menu option on the toolpanel) but when he clicks an option of new menu,
openoffice crash (openoffice restarts and shows this error in term
the Gtk errors are most likely unrelated.

there should be an error log (file named hs*.log). please attach it
