Well, it seems that the sky2 driver had support for 2 devices that the sk98lin driver doesn't support, and can't without extra patching. I'm uploading a new kernel for dapper tomorrow that re-enables sky2 just for these devices. -- wired network does not work since 2.6.17-7 https://launchpad.net
