I don't see the ext/* failues in gcc-linaro-4.5-2010.08-1 on i686,
x86_64, or armv7a.
I had a quick look and it seems that ext/* are being included by
libstdc++-v3/testsuite/libstdc++-dg/conformance.exp so they're probably
running.

fixed in 4.5.1 and later already. Updated testsuite-hardening-
fortify.diff attached for the freopen issues. Still investigating the
assert failures.
