Ok, from what I can tell the system is swapping way too easily. If I'm running Chromium + XChat I'm fine. As soon as I open OpenOffice or Evolution or Rhythmbox that seems to push the memory over the edge and the system starts swapping. If I can manage to get to a terminal in time and kill the l
