I think this bug is related to using devices by uuid inside the fstab and not to KDE or any of its updates. I have 1 ntfs partition and 2 vfat partitions in my fstab. I had reverted them to the classic /dev/hdXY naming scheme inside the fstab so that I don't have to face this bug. I fully updated
