Gwibber had been working fine for me until... the last update from
ubuntu ( i think it was about two or three weeks ago). Since then I keep
getting those facebook authtentification messages every x minutes.

There is pretty clearly a serious issue with Facebook and Gwibber and
with Gwibber not updating. Just Google "Gwibber Ubuntu" and you'll see
it everywhere.
This is far from "low priority." It basically makes the thing useless.
In a fresh install of Lucid, I cannot add Facebook to my broadcast
acc

I used to have some troubles with my facebook account but with lucid seems to
work good...

Gwibber seems to be working fine otherwise, and I do not get this
notification from my Twitter account. Maybe this is a Facebook bug?
