Alright, I think we have a winner. This kernel correctly assigns the
device to the gyration driver like my patched version did.
I'm not home yet to test the actual buttons, but I'm confident they'll
work fine.

Just tested it -- doesn't seem to be fixed, the generic-usb driver takes
hold of it, and won't yield it to hid-gyration. As a result, the extra
buttons on my remote don't work. This is the same behavior as the
unpatched kernel.

I believe I have fixed this issue in the 2.6.32 version of the kernel.
The fixed kernels are available for download here:
