I can confirm this. I have formatted a winxp partition using fat32 in
the windows install, and then, when I install Ubuntu, I get the same
error.
I didn't stop, just installed Ubuntu. Then I got an error inode not in
group. I ran e2fsck, answered yes to a couple of questions, and
everything was fi
