After updating to Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal my external USB harddrive
with several partitions can be unmounted but not detached (safely
removed). I tried to update the deliverd Nautilus 3.4.2 to 3.6 with the
"ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3" PPA but then it even didn't start. USB flash
drives are dismoun

Hey guys,
Ok I have been using Karmic since the last report on this issue.
Today I reinstalled Lucid ,clean,...Monday July 12, 2010.
The issue still persists!!!
This bug is not minor...and it continues with any file system ,
fat32..ext4..ntfs
Is there any light you can shed letting me know
