I managed to resolve this issue by downgrading a bunch of packages back to the default Dapper versions, including: - libgl1-mesa - libgl1-mesa-glx - xserver-xorg-video-ati - xserver-xorg-video-i810 (These packages were upgraded since I was playing around with Compiz...) -- dist-upgr
