it seemed to me someone in this report mentioned that he had the same
phenomen - which ist also that the system gets quite slow on logging in
and sometimes on opening files - whicht is due to the timeout.

This issue is not a duplicate of bug 440470. You just happen to also
have that in your log files :). The log message is harmless and should
not cause the bug reported here. Thanks for putting in the effort to try
to further diagnose the issue though!

i set up a clean karmic installation and i still get:
udisks --enumerate
