If you could also please test the latest upstream kernel available that would
be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue.
Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Once you've tested the
upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstre
sudo gedit /etc/default/grub
change : GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash"
to : GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet acpi=force"
sudo update-grub

Hi colleagues.
After upgrade to 10.04 from 9.10 my computer doesn't shut down. You can
select and accept the option under GNOME but it doesn't shut down.
