I reproduced this problem in 11.10 Oneiric 64-bit by opening the
655-page PDF linked above in Evince and printing to a Postscript file,
then viewing the .ps file in Evince. The on-screen PDF looks fine, as
does Print Preview in Evince. A screenshot of page 5 of the .ps file is
attached.

With the same PDF document posted by the OP, Senniasta, I get nothing on
the first page and just a thin line on page 5.

roxy - I think you have a different bug, given that you did not have the
problem in Ubuntu 10.04 but Sennaista did. Does the problem appear in
Print preview as well? If so, please attach a screenshot.

I have encountered the same problem after upgrading to Ubuntu 10.10; sample pdf
file is attached.
My solution is to use Adobe Reader for printing. In Ubuntu 10.04 I didn't have
to.

Just to print a PDF file, I have to print to file, then convert this to
JPG in GIMP. Horrible work-a-round, but it works I guess. Hopefully this
is fixed soon as most people are not going to mess with this I doubt.
Found this bug to be an issue in both Evince and even in the proprietary
app, Adobe
This is still occurring with Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat" beta
