ffplay (Version 0.5.1) does not play videos correct
Other Videoplayer (vlc, dragonplayer) shows Videos correct.

Dan, I do suspect there is something else going on here.
I have a video which plays reasonably well on melt on my Archlinux
system while displays only garbage in Ubuntu 10.04. That's why I
reported the issue here on Ubuntu issue tracker.

To bug administrators, feel free to close this. This is a known issue
for which there is no plan of resolution other than to wait for ffmpeg
to improve.

Melt is actually able to display correctly other kind of videos. Tested
with dv videos without any problems.

This issue could give problems with other packages which relay on melt
for video display/rendering. Eg: kdenlive.
