There have been a variety of fixes to the mountall/plymouth handling
since this bug was filed. I believe this issue has been resolved in
later versions of Ubuntu. If you can reproduce the issue with Ubuntu
13.04 or later, please reopen this report.

I think I just hit something similar on 12.04. I got the "Errors found"
prompt, and pressed uppercase F for
fix. Nothing happened. I pressed lowercase 'f', and it started doing things.
So although mountall seems to be
asking plymouth for both cases in mountall.c:plymouth_update(), maybe it's
