After an evening puzzling with this i found the following:
- The startup problems (distorted console) are solved when i use the karmic
2.6.31 based kernel
- The XvMC problems seem to be due to a wrong setting of the playback engine in
mythtv (Standard XvMC i.s.o. Via XvMC). How this setting got c
