Nicolas Repentin, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't
been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an
issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development
release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live
Any further developments? My kernel version is 2.6.32-27-generic and
tda1004x still announces timeout waiting for DSP ready ...

I added another set of apport info if that helps (the bug affects me too
and I seem to have the exact same DVB card as the original reporter).
This time with "sudo apport-collect", maybe this will yield more useful
info.
