Problem remains in ubuntu 10.04 final. A workaround is to mount manually the share in gnome (gvfs) through Places/Connect and then create a symlink to the .gvfs mount point. I don't know if the problem is samba, likewise-open or ubuntu ... Regards -- Mounting CIFS folder i can only have READ ONL

There is no dmesg output after i run the Mount command. I check dmesg before and after mounting, and no dmesg new lines. Moreover: In nautilus, when i right click the mouse i see greyed out all the "new document", "new folder", "paste" etc options. Moreover: mouting the share through Resources/Mo
