Are the DAAP servers running on the same machine as Rhythmbox? Rhythmbox
doesn't display local DAAP shares.
Making it show local shares which are from a different user on the same

Default Dapper version of RB. DAAP sharing works perfectly. It is not
the problem.
Problem is: RB doesn't list any other shares. It does share, but cannot
play what others share.

What version of rhythmnbox are you using?
daap sharing works for me here once it's been enabled in preferences.
