Great: after installing latest updates, now I can see the graphical boot
logo with the new artwork and five-dots progress bar. I'll mark this bug
as invalid because it seems to be fixed. Thanks!

Shutting down and restarting the computer does effectively shows a white
graphical Ubuntu logo.
