Update last night seems to have fixed 2.6.32-17 and now 2.6.32-18 is
installed and also boots from reiserfs root partition.

Regression from 2.6.32-16 which mounts root filesystem on reiserfs
partition and boots. 2.6.32-17 seems to only know about ext2, ext3,
ext4, and fuseblk filesystems. Thus it refuses to mount the root /
filesystem, fails to boot, and leaves no logs.

All the logs attached are from 2.6.32-16 where everything works. As
noted above, 2.6.32-17 fails to mount the root file system and thus no
logs are available from the failure.
Here is some of what I see on the boot screen when it fails:
No filesystem could mount root, tried: ext3 ext2 ext4 fuse
