I'm unable to reproduce this, and we haven't heard back from the
reporter so I'll close this report. If anyone is able to reproduce this
with the latest version of Inkscape, please feel free to reopen the
report.

I'm afraid I can't reproduce this bug, using Inkscape_0.48.0-1ubuntu1 in
Ubuntu Maverick. Do you still experience this problem? Does it happen
every time, or just with a particular file you were working on?
