Hello,
Well, it seems that the last Maverick upgrade removed all pt_BR and pt_PT
translations from Firefox.
The language-pack-base package contains nothing but empty folders:
$ dpkg -L language-pack-pt-base | grep firefox
/usr/lib/firefox-addons
/usr/lib/firefox-addons/extensions
/usr/lib/firef
Hi,
Firefox has lost the pt_BR translations after running an update
yesterday: language-selector, language-pack-en and language-pack-pt (as
well as the -gnome and kde variants) were updated to 1:10.10+20110308

Found it too. The workaround is to install the following addon:
https://addons.mozilla.org/pt-BR/firefox/addon/4851
But this should not be necessary, as most basic users won't know how to do it,
and Brazilian Portuguese is WAY different from Portugal.
Please, fix it before lucid final.
