It's actually a bug in gtk+. The way the GtkEntry widget is implemented
makes it impossible to work (read: look) correct with RGBA-windows using
transparency. The right way to fix this is to re-implement GtkEntry's
correctly making it work with RGBA or as a nasty work-around
"quick&dirty"-style rip
It happens when compiz is enabled because that's the only time gksu
tries to make a translucent window. Probably a GTK+ issue in reality
though.

As mentioned earlier , not a theme bug.
Might be a gtk bug or that gksu isnt able to do it right. Might be
compiz too , since the bug doesnt happen in a virtualbox with no special
effects.

I think he is trying to describe this. The orange color _is_ the
intended focus color. As far as the padding goes around the focus
border, that happens in all themes.
