I've uploaded a patched package for that to dapper-proposed for now.
That apt source is not listed by default but apparently can be used as a
stagging area to test packages before uploading to dapper-updates, I
would prefer have some feedback on the package before uploading to
dapper-updates

this will have a small effect on battery performance on laptops but not
too much. it's probably worth including only if doing another libgtk
release for another reason.
