I've now upgraded to Ubuntu Edgy, so I can't check the old install that I
reported this problem with.
I'm unable to reproduce on Ubuntu Edgy, however FYI, locale -a on my Edgy
install produces:

en_AU.utf8
en_BW.utf8
en_CA.utf8
en_DK.utf8
en_GB.utf8
en_HK.utf8
en_IE.utf8
en_IN
en_NZ.utf8
en_PH.u
Please give me the output of
locale -a
to check whether en_SG.UTF-8 is actually available. If it is, then this
is a bug in GTK, not the locales.
