Hi, I think it's too late to update the Freeciv for Ubuntu Lucid (I am not a Ubuntu developer though). It is possible to request a backport [1] for Lucid later. Meanwhile you can try the package I just uploaded to the Debian/Ubuntu Games Team PPA [2]. Regards, Ansgar [1]
