You would have to install the firefox-dbg and start firefox from a console with "firefox -g". Then you would use gdb as described in http://wiki.ubuntu.com/Backtrace . At any rate, this appears to be no longer a problem. Thank you very much for taking the time to report it! ** Changed in: firefox
