Unfortunately the machine hangs without warning. Fortunately building and installing v3c and treedb from git is a snap. To reproduce the circumstances of the crash I think running the checks against v3c branch 1.3.12 is a good idea - it may not be a factor. Here is the complete procedure. # BEG
