If your codec differs from the original reporter's, and you are
exhibiting this symptom, then you /must/ file a separate bug.
Globbing all comments based on a symptom doesn't actually clarify the
required fix in source code, which is highly dependent on the codec
involved.

I think for this motherboard MSI P43 Neo F, drivers are not configuret
corectly because I change my MSI P43 whit this one Gigabyte P43-ES3G an
conection for sound is the same as MSI, CD IN on motherboard and on
ubuntu I have CD mixer in alsa.

When I try to run this command apport-collect -p alsa-base 53800 in the
terminal I receive a screen message:
