Using the latest in gutsy, today I see that all files are excluded that
have the substring "tmp" in their name. Also files are excluded with the
substring "iso" in their name. The latter happens, I suppose, because I
have chosen not to backup files with extension "iso".

Ok. Have tried it some more, and I found that if I set it to make a full
backup at least once every "1" days. It should make a full backup every
day yes? But it's not, it's only make incremental backups.
It only make 1 full backup (the first) then the rest is only ".inc"
every day.
Or am I missi

And it seems to work fine excluding and purging (sofar)
Thanks for fixing this. This was something that was missing in the linux
world, a simple backup solution, but still powerfull and a purge option.

Yes, that is a known bug - sbackup includes/excluded folders and files based on
substring match.
I am currently reviewing a patch for 0.10 that could fix this.
