It start a gnome-keyring before launching gwibber or the command in param.
You can use it like that: ./gnome-keyr.sh gwibber

I noticed this problem too, but only when my user is in the
nopasswdlogin group. Also, seahorse isn't able to connect to gnome-
keyring-daemon when using the passwordless login.

I had the same problem. It looks like it happens when gwibber can't
connect to the keyring service. To fix this, I started the keyring
service manually by typing 'gnome-keyring-daemon' in the terminal.

I cannot test it anymore. I reinstalled my laptop and installed the
AMD64 Ubuntu lucid where Gwibber seems to work just fine. The bug
occurred on 32bit version. Unless other people notify the same bug and
report/assign it maybe it was just my setup.
