Alex, I tried to figure out how to report the ppa:apw/red bug to the
package developer, that is what is the URL to submit the bug, what do I
select on the URL to enter a bug, and what information is needed. I
tried launchpad.net/~apw but couldn't see how to enter a bug on that
page.

This bug is not over. I too have the problem. I run 64 bit lucid. In
lucid alpha 1, everything was fine. When alpha 3 came out, I did a full
update. Now firefox always crashes to login when I do my first
significant operation (usually it's a google search) after a fresh boot
up. I have to log back
I'm glad the problem is fixed. Apport is a program that is used for
reporting bugs, and as far as I can tell it is not what is crashing. The
video card is what is crashing and this is running code from
ppa:apw/red. This code is not from the Official Ubuntu Repositories,
which is why I asked you to
