Hi. I happened to install the fglrx driver the other day, and since then
the laptop has shut down normally. This could then be an issue with the

It may be worth noting that this issue does not occur *all* the time. About
once in every 5 to 10 shutdowns the laptop does actually shut down properly.
I have not been able to spot any patterns in the behaviour however.

I have been running Lucid on it since the end of December (and Jaunty/Karmic
before that). The issue started occurring towards the end of January /
beginning of February as far as I can remember. Thanks.
