Niall, you have a similar setup like I have (~2 users), and user-
switching is disabled here. Do the same.
Rejecting the bug, as there already is a way to fix this site-wide
(gconf-setting).

This is actually a serious problem. I really don't like it when a lot of
machines try to mount, read and access several thousand home directories
whenever their users unlock their screensavers, especially when the network in

We've made attempts to make this work correctly but if you have more than a
hundred users you should probably turn user-switching off. Also see:
